Supportive for overall health, athletic vigor, endurance, and sexual health, this blend offers comprehensive nourishment to empower balanced Yang energy and robust Jing, which governs longevity and physical vitality. Featuring many tonic herbs that we are thrilled to welcome into our offerings for the first time, this proprietary blend exclusively contains potent extracts of: Red Korean Ginseng, Epimedium, Deer Antler Velvet, Eucommia, Polyrachis Ant, Peruvian Maca, Cordyceps, and Tribulus Terrestris.

Red Korean Ginseng is a powerful adaptogen, enhancing one’s capacity to adapt and therefore minimizing susceptibility to the experience of stress on every level. This herb is revered for bringing harmony to the whole body in the most foundational sense as it’s tonifying to all Three Treasures (Jing, Qi, and Shen), which are our life-giving and sustaining energies. With profound regulatory functions, Red Korean Ginseng prevents fatigue while boosting both physical energy and cognitive function. It helps regulate blood pressure, has a harmonizing effect on the nervous system, supports the HPA axis, enhances sexual function, supports cardiovascular health, and strengthens immunity.

Epimedium is another potent supertonic herb of TCM that is most famous for its libido-boosting effects, hence its moniker of Horny Goat Weed. However, this amazing Yang tonic has a wide variety of other benefits! One of the most prized herbal categories in TCM, Yang tonics are crucial to our capacity for balance, resilience, and energy. Epimedium is especially tonifying to Kidney Yang (Yang Jing), which is the entire body’s main source of energy for the duration of one’s life, generating all Yang energy in the body and initiating every organ’s various functions. generates all Yang energy and initiates every organ’s various functions. Epimedium is also an immunomodulating herb that lowers high blood pressure and, when combined with Red Ginseng, can have a bi-directional, harmonizing effect on blood pressure. It has also been shown to increase sperm production, welcome in light of our modern reproductive crisis.

Deer Antler Velvet is one of the most prized TCM tonics, as a highly regenerative Yang tonic that is nourishing to all Three Treasures. From a TCM perspective, underlying male performance and fertility are issues of Qi stagnation and imbalances of the Kidney, Heart and Liver. Because Deer Antler Velvet can fortify Kidney Yang, which is where the penis sources its reproductive capabilities, it’s no wonder that Deer Antler Velvet is a traditional ally for optimal erectile function and fertility, with a rich tradition of use for raising testosterone levels in men. Further, growth hormone has long been utilized to support fertility, and Deer Antler Velvet is a potent source thereof. Traditional Chinese theorists believe that because animals are genetically closer to human beings than plants or other substances, animal substances are more beneficial than plants or minerals in tonifying the Jing (essence or primal energy) of the body. Blood-building and circulation-promoting, this powerful substance is also supportive of cardiovascular health and the unobstructed flow of abundant Qi.

Eucommia is a strengthening tonic herb deeply rooted in the traditions of Taoism, particularly as an aid for Taoist athletes and practitioners of internal martial arts because of its incredible structural support. With strong affinities for the Kidney and Liver meridians, which are associated with the tendons and sinews, Eucommia nourishes and strengthens these tissues. It therefore promotes flexibility and elasticity in joint mobility, while also preventing injuries. It also has inflammation-taming and analgesic properties, which can help alleviate pain. Eucommia is also a primary herb for tonifying the Yang Jing functions of the Kidneys, and also nourishes Yin Jing to an extent, such that it’s an ally for enhancing fertility in both men and women. It has a purifying effect on the blood and powerful immunosupportive properties.

Polyrachis Ant is a potent adaptogenic substance and nutrient-dense food medicine. Also associated with the Kidney and Liver meridians, this herb supports structural integrity and the muscular system, widely considered a longevity tonic that deeply supports graceful aging. With a bi-directional and immunomodulating action, it enhances our natural defenses and the Wei Qi, or the conceptual “shield” surrounding the body. It is energizing, resilience-promoting, nourishing to the nervous system, supportive of optimal digestive function, and energizing. By strengthening the Kidney system, it is another ingredient that helps optimize sexual function and health, while also tonifying Jing.

Peruvian Maca, though not a TCM herb, was included in this blend for its powerfully synergistic properties and capacity to support well-rounded adaptability. The Quechua people of Peru have a long tradition of revering this medicine as a tonic that promotes cognitive health, physical endurance, and a comprehensive sense of vitality. It has also been traditionally valued as a sexual health potentiator, known for boosting libido and enhancing fertility. These days it is thought that Maca’s hormone-balancing benefits are due to its regulating action on the HPA axis, potentially regulating the release of stress hormones such as cortisol. When cortisol is dysregulated, it is known as “adrenal fatigue,” which can lead to the disruption of the endocrine system as a whole.

Tribulus Terrestris is a commonly used TCM herb that promotes overall vitality, with a particular affinity for the Liver and Kidney meridians. As a renoprotective herb, it can also promote the protection of Jing, enhances sexual function, and supports the physical structures of the body. This herb also supports hormonal balance and may help increase testosterone levels. Tribulus supports optimal Liver function in two key ways: by calming hyperactive Liver Yang, it is another supporter of healthy blood sugar levels, and it invigorates Liver Qi by removing stagnation. By supporting the Liver, it also promotes healthy detoxification.
