Baked Pears with Cinnamon and Cordyceps

Pears, particularly baked pears are known in Chinese Medicine for nourishing the lungs, moistening dry cough. Cordyceps are also known as a Lung tonic.

This is a wonderful snack in fall or winter to help support lung health.


Preheat oven to 350*
Cut pears in half and place on baking sheet
Scoop out the center
Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp Cordyceps
Drizzle with honey or maple syrup
Bake in oven for 30-35 min
Top with coconut cream, currants, walnuts
