an ew way of becoming
"Reading this book landed differently for me than a lot of wellness reading does, because it wasn't just interesting — it was necessary. For much of my life, I didn't have real access to a framework for understanding my own body as a woman, beyond the bare minimum of Western medical care. TCM's approach to women's physiology gave me something I had been missing for a long time: a way of understanding cycles, health, and the body as an interconnected system, rather than a set of isolated symptoms to manage. There's something profound about encountering a tradition that has spent thousands of years paying close attention to women's bodies specifically, when so much of what I grew up with offered little real guidance at all. This book gave me language and context for something I've carried for most of my life. For me, this goes beyond curiosity. It's part of reclaiming an understanding of my own body, and it's shaping how I want to show up for other women navigating that same gap in care."
